Lots of model types to be seen
Courtesy of Chris Wilkinson, here are a number of photos from the recent Digital Ace event that was held at Beau Sejour. As you can see from Chris’ photos, there were a good number and assortment of aircraft and ‘drones’ for the public to have a look at in our static model display. I’ve added a couple of general shots of my own just to show the extent of our display areas.
One sports court was made available for members to show off their flying skills with their indoor flying models and this proved to be very popular with members of the public young and old alike. Also very popular as usual was the model flight simulator, I would guess that we had upwards of 25 ‘would be pilots’ trying their hand at flying a model… some with more success than others 🙂 but all having a great time trying nonetheless.
The general feedback from both the public and the event organisers was that the GMFC’s participation in the event is very much appreciated.
